Resumo: This work deals with the concepts and results on linear systems, including matrix and vectors theory of R n as the basis for a good understanding of the approaches. In order to deal with the question LU, we consider the results, mainly, in the case of operations between matrices, between vectors, their properties, methods for system resolution through Gauss elimination and nally presentations of resolution LU, Of the theory of matrices and vectors, which are considered with their due demonstrations.

Serão tratados aqui, as operações entre matrizes, entre vetores,suas propriedades, métodos para resolução de sistema via eliminação de Gauss e por fim apresentaremos a fatoração LU, a qual fornece uma outra forma de resolversistemas que em algumas situações pode ser mais viável.
