Resumo: This dissertation sought to investigate the application of Industry 4.0 technologies, specifically those related to virtual reality, artificial intelligence and the internet of things, which are intended for occupational safety, in order to apply them in the public works inspection activity of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas - IFAM. As a final objective was developed and proposed an application guide of these technologies in order to serve as strategic guidelines for the mitigation of the main occupational risks identified in this inspection activity. To achieve the final objective it was necessary to identify all the existing occupational risks and categorize those with the greatest impact on the activity. The following methodological procedures were applied: a bibliographic, qualitative, applied, exploratory, and case study research. The data collection with the research participants was done through semi-structured interviews. All the employees that performed construction supervision activities in the IFAM were invited to participate in the research. Before being executed, the research project was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee, through the Plataforma Brasil, obtaining a favorable opinion for its development. Among the results that were found in the data collection with the interviewees, the two main occupational risks to which they are exposed stand out, which are: mental stress and incorrect sitting posture. The results of the bibliographical research identified several applications of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things technologies that are intended for monitoring or treating these occupational risks. From these results, the final product of the project was developed, that is, the strategic guide of applications of Industry 4.0 technologies for occupational risks. This guide was validated through a focus group meeting.

This guide was validated through a focus group meeting.A presente disserta??o buscou investigar a aplica??o das tecnologias da Ind?stria 4.0, especificamente as que dizem respeito ? realidade virtual, intelig?ncia artificial e internet das coisas, que s?o destinadas ? seguran?a do trabalho, com o fim de aplic?-las na atividade de fiscaliza??o de obras p?blicas do Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia do Amazonas ? IFAM. Como objetivo final foi desenvolvido e proposto um guia de aplica??es dessas tecnologias com a finalidade de servir de orienta??es estrat?gicas para a mitiga??o dos principais riscos ocupacionais identificados nessa atividade de fiscaliza??o. Para atingir o objetivo final foi necess?rio identificar todos os riscos ocupacionais existentes e categorizar ?queles com mais impacto na atividade. Foram aplicados os seguintes procedimentos metodol?gicos: uma pesquisa bibliogr?fica, qualitativa, de natureza aplicada, explorat?ria e estudo de caso. A coleta de dados com os participantes da pesquisa foi feita por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Todos os servidores que realizavam a atividade de fiscaliza??o de obras em todo ?mbito do IFAM foram convidados a participar da pesquisa. Antes de ser executado, o projeto de pesquisa foi submetido ao Comit? de ?tica em Pesquisa, por meio da Plataforma Brasil, obtendo parecer favor?vel ao seu desenvolvimento. Dentre os resultados que foram encontrados na coleta de dados com os entrevistados, destacam-se os dois principais riscos ocupacionais a que eles est?o expostos, quais sejam: estresse mental e postura sentada incorreta. J? nos resultados da pesquisa bibliogr?fica foram identificadas diversas aplica??es das tecnologias realidade virtual, intelig?ncia artificial e internet das coisas que s?o destinadas para o monitoramento ou tratamento desses riscos ocupacionais. A partir destes resultados foi desenvolvido o produto final do projeto, isto ?, o guia estrat?gico de aplica??es das tecnologias da Ind?stria 4.0 para riscos ocupacionais. description This dissertation sought to investigate the application of Industry 4.0 technologies, specifically those related to virtual reality, artificial intelligence and the internet of things, which are intended for occupational safety, in order to apply them in the public works inspection activity of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas - IFAM. As a final objective was developed and proposed an application guide of these technologies in order to serve as strategic guidelines for the mitigation of the main occupational risks identified in this inspection activity. To achieve the final objective it was necessary to identify all the existing occupational risks and categorize those with the greatest impact on the activity. The following methodological procedures were applied: a bibliographic, qualitative, applied, exploratory, and case study research. The data collection with the research participants was done through semi-structured interviews. All the employees that performed construction supervision activities in the IFAM were invited to participate in the research. Before being executed, the research project was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee, through the Plataforma Brasil, obtaining a favorable opinion for its development. Among the results that were found in the data collection with the interviewees, the two main occupational risks to which they are exposed stand out, which are: mental stress and incorrect sitting posture. The results of the bibliographical research identified several applications of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things technologies that are intended for monitoring or treating these occupational risks. From these results, the final product of the project was developed, that is, the strategic guide of applications of Industry 4.0 technologies for occupational risks. This guide was validated through a focus group meeting.
