Resumo: The population growth demands greater attention to urban water management. The increase of impermeable areas and their relation with the transport of soluble material must be studied in order to bring clarification and help the authorities to planning actions to ensure the population’s safety. The objective of this work was to study the influence of occupancy density on the transportation of a soluble material (in order to simulate a dissolved pollutant) and urban surface runoff, using physical modeling. A rainfall simulator was used, with an intensity of 43mm.h-1. Hydrographs of the different scenarios were used to analyze if the presence of blocks has influence on the surface runoff. In order to evaluate the influence of the density of urban occupation in the transport of pollutants, the pollutants of the different scenarios were made, varying the position of the pollutant in the area and the density of occupation. It was proposed the use of a Rotational Compound Central Design (CCRD), which analyzed five dependent variables (initial and final transportation time, time at which the peak of the pollutogram was reached, value of this peak and the total mass transported). Working on the data, it was noticed that all the dependent variables are influenced by the linear effect of the position of the pollutant. The quadratic effect is relevant for the model of all variables except the final time. The linear effect of the density was influential for the peak time, the value of this and the mass transported. The quadratic effect of density was only relevant for the initial transport time. The interaction between the independent variables was only relevant for the peak time. It was possible to conclude that the pollutant position was relevant for all variables analyzed, but the occupation density did not influence the final transport time. It was also concluded that the presence of blocks has influences on the beginning of the hydrograph, but the occupation density was not relevant for the densities evaluated.

O aumento das áreas urbanas e impermeáveis e sua relação com o transporte de material solúvel devem ser estudados a fim de trazer esclarecimentos quanto ao melhor planejamento a ser utilizado pelo poder público. Objetivou-se, com este trabalho, estudar a influência da densidade de ocupação no transporte de um material solúvel (com o objetivo de simular um poluente dissolvido) e no escoamento superficial urbano, utilizando um modelo em escala reduzida. Um simulador de chuva com intensidade de 43mm.h-1 sobre uma superfície impermeável com blocos dispersos, simulando uma ocupação urbana, foi utilizado na montagem experimental. Foram obtidos hidrogramas de diferentes cenários com o objetivo de analisar se a presença de blocos influencia no escoamento superficial e no transporte de material solúvel. Para avaliar a influência da densidade de ocupação urbana no transporte de poluentes foram levantados polutogramas dos diferentes cenários, variando a posição do poluente na área e a densidade de ocupação. Foi proposto o uso de um delineamento experimental denominado Central Composto Rotacional (DCCR), que analisou cinco variáveis dependentes (tempo inicial e final do transporte, tempo em que foi atingido o pico do polutograma, valor desse pico e massa transportada) em função das variáveis independentes: posição do poluente em relação ao exutório e densidade de ocupação da superfície impermeável. Analisando-se os dados, percebeu-se que todas as variáveis dependentes são influenciadas pelo efeito linear da posição do poluente. O efeito quadrático é relevante para o modelo de todas as variáveis, exceto o tempo final. O efeito linear da densidade mostrou-se influente para o tempo de pico, o valor deste e a massa transportada. Já o efeito quadrático da densidade só se mostrou relevante para o tempo inicial de transporte. Da mesma forma, a interação entre as variáveis independentes só foi relevante para o tempo de pico. Foi possível concluir, então, que a posição do poluente influencia todas as variáveis analisadas, porém a densidade de ocupação não influenciou o tempo final de transporte. Concluiu-se, ainda, que a presença de blocos influencia o tempo de início do hidrograma, porém a densidade de ocupação não se mostrou significante para as densidades investigadas.application/pdfporUniversidade Federal de AlfenasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Ciência e Engenharia AmbientalUNIFAL-MGBrasilInstituto de Ciência e Tecnologiainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Engenharia Sanitária.Recursos Hídricos.Modelagem física.Chuvas – Métodos de simulação.ENGENHARIA SANITARIA::RECURSOS HIDRICOSTransporte de material dissolvido pelo escoamento superficial produzido por um simulador de chuva sobre uma superfície impermeávelTransport of a dissolved material by the superficial runoff produced by a rainfall simulator on a waterproof surfaceinfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion-4297417259498638931600600162673199464443160reponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal de Alfenas - RiUnifalinstname:Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL)instacron:UNIFALLima, Bruno OliveiraORIGINALDISSERTAÇÃO Bruno Oliveira Lima 2017.pdfDISSERTAÇÃO Bruno Oliveira Lima 2017.pdfTransporte de material dissolvido pelo escoamento superficial produzido por um simulador de chuva sobre uma superfície impermeávelapplication/pdf10212323https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/bitstreams/102e3fcb-fbc2-4931-81f4-606ba134ac3b/download26805d6e52de3bdd007a434314717890MD55LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
