For a long time, the history of women was neglected. After the advancement and updating of historiographic strands, there was a great increase in historiographic production related to women, especially related to the antiquity period. However, even after the historiographical advance and the apogee of women's history, it is still possible to find some resistance to this historical strand, especially focused on antiquity studies, which still has an extremely conservative nature. Due to this factor, the research in question aims to analyze the female representations present in Iberian and Roman material culture. The main objective of the research is to understand how material culture - as a source - allows us a rich research, capable of making a deep analysis of Roman and Iberian women between the 3rd and 4th centuries AD. Through the sources, we will analyze the Iberian and Roman social relations, highlighting the Roman influence on the Iberian territory after the Romanization period. Through the numismatic and iconographic analysis of the sources, the historical contextualization of both societies will be carried out in order to problematize and analyze women, in order to understand how women were represented and their social role in the Iberian Peninsula and Rome. Finally, through the research carried out, we will create an object of study using new media and communications for students in primary and secondary education with the purpose of propagating the history of women in both societies and numismatic study.
