Biblioterapia: a promoção do letratamento literário como estratégia terapêutica

Resumo: This dissertation carries out a study on bibliotherapy, a therapeutic methodology centered on literary reading, and proposes the construction and implementation of a blog as a dissemination tool on the topic. Its objective is to disseminate understanding of the ways in which bibliotherapy has been transformed over the years, highlighting its potential in the treatment of emotional disorders, and also as a relevant educational practice. Bibliotherapy, which encompasses reading and health, has a lot of space to conquer in the Brazilian scenario. To this end, research was carried out on the history of bibliotherapy, seeking information on how this practice has evolved over time, from the first forms of using reading for therapeutic purposes, and how this idea has developed over the centuries. Another important theme that supported this research is the issue of literary literacy, directly involved with the challenge of implementing bibliotherapy practices that are effectively transformative, linked to the work of education professionals, therefore. The main authors used throughout the research were Magda Soares (1999; 2000), Rildo Cosson (2006), Graça Paulino (2009), Ângela Kleiman (2004), Vilson J. Leffa (1999), Paulo Freire (1967; 1981) e Lucas Veras de Andrade (2017; 2018). Finally, it was found that the topic “bibliotherapy” lacks publicity in Portuguese, with the number of websites dealing with the subject being small. Due to this finding, it is proposed to build a blog to publicize the topic, in order to contribute to the training of readers and users of bibliotherapy, which is an educational and therapeutic action at the same time.

O objetivo é disseminar a compreensão das formas como a biblioterapia vem se transformando ao longo dos anos, destacando seu potencial no tratamento de transtornos emocional, e também como prática educacional relevante. A biblioterapia, que engloba leitura e saúde, tem muito espaço a conquistar no cenário brasileiro. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa sobre a história da biblioterapia, buscando informações sobre como essa prática evoluiu ao longo do tempo, desde as primeiras formas de uso da leitura para fins terapêuticos. Outro tema importante que fundamentou esta pesquisa é a questão do letramento literário, diretamente envolvido com o desafio de se implementar práticas de biblioterapia que sejam efetivamente transformadoras, ligadas à atuação de profissionais da educação. Portanto, os principais autores usados ao longo da pesquisa foram: Magda Soares (1999; 2000), Rildo Cosson (2006), Graça Paulino (2009), Ângela Kleiman (2004), Vilson J. Leffa (1999), Paulo Freire (1967; 1981) e Lucas Veras de Andrade (2017; 2018). Por fim, constatou-se que o tema “biblioterapia” carece de divulgação em língua portuguesa, sendo pequeno o número de sites que tratam do assunto.
