Resumo: The globalized and technological context increasingly requires professionals to adapt to new routines and work methods, in groups of professionals this pressure for adaptation is further aggravated by the need for human care and treatment with lives, as is the case of health professionals who they must always be prepared for the use of new technologies existing in health units, and still maintain humanistic skills in their work routines. These requirements put these professionals in a condition that requires a lot of mental and physical effort and often simultaneously, this pressure for productivity combined with the risk of not being able to make mistakes in their journey, puts these professionals in vulnerability in terms of their health and well-being. be. Based on this reality, professionals end up needing medical intervention to reestablish their health condition, and sometimes they may have leaves of absence that in the present research were addressed as non-programmable leaves (certificates) that are those that there is no way for managers to predict. or even plan financial and human resources to fill these absences. In this sense, this research seeks to map the causes of absences of the group of health professionals (nursing, hygiene and maintenance), analyze the financial impacts and propose health programs in a hospital unit. This is a quantitative, exploratory, explanatory and descriptive research, using data provided through the institution's internal systems and processed to compose the database analyzed in this study. The results obtained show that the main causes of absences are: Mental and behavioral disorders; Musculoskeletal Systems; Fractures and Sprains respectively in this sequence of the three major causes of sick leave. Regarding the financial impact, the amount was close to R$ 3,500,000.00 in payment of overtime and other consequences guaranteed by law, only with the group of professionals object of this study. In the case of a public hospital with regional service, these impacts cause work overload on the other professionals, since each removal generates the need to replace the workforce to maintain the provision of services and, also generating overtime that consequently impact on the hospital budget.

Essas exigências colocam estes profissionais em uma condição que exige muito esforço mental e físico e muitas vezes de forma simultânea, essa pressão por produtividade aliada ao risco de não poder cometer erros em sua jornada, coloca estes profissionais em vulnerabilidade na questão da sua saúde e bem-estar.A partir dessa realidade os profissionais acabam por necessitar de intervenção médica para reestabelecer sua condição de saúde, e por vezes, podem apresentar afastamentos que na presente pesquisa foram abordados como os afastamentos não programáveis (atestados) que são aqueles que não há como os gestores preverem ou até mesmo planejarem recursos financeiros e humanos para suprir essas ausências. Nesse sentido esta pesquisa busca mapear as causas dos afastamentos do grupo de profissionais que atuam em serviços de saúde (enfermagem, higiene e manutenção), analisar os impactos financeiros e propor programas de saúde em uma unidade hospitalar. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa de caráter exploratório, explicativa e descritiva, que utilizou-se de dados fornecidos por meio de sistemas internos da instituição e foram tratados para compor a base de dados analisados neste estudo. Os resultados obtidos demostram que as principais causas dos afastamentos são: Transtorno mentais e comportamentais; Sistemas Osteomuscular; Fraturas e Entorses respectivamente nessa sequência das três maiores causas de afastamentos. Em relação ao impacto financeiro, o valor aproximou-se de R$ 3.500.000,00 em pagamento de horas extras e demais reflexos assegurados por lei,apenas com o grupo de profissionais objeto desse estudo.
