This master's dissertation aims to develop a study on the practice of teaching the argumentative text from the perspective of Discourse Analysis of a materialist nature.From this perspective, the conditions of paraphrase and polysemy were considered, as well as the discursive and ideological formations to which the students of a public school in the city of Bagé are affiliated.From the writing of the subject-students, in ENEM model texts,( National High Schol Exam essays) the functioning of the argumentation was analyzed and the discursive formations with which the students identify were identified, with this we were able to intervene in order to encourage the assumption of the student to the position of subject-author.We understand the text as discursive materiality and we pay attention to the various constructions that could evidence, contradict or even support the ideology materialized in the texts.The analysis of the corpus was carried out, which was composed of texts written by students of the third year of high school, in the Enem model, in order to highlight the movements of paraphrase and polysemy, addressing the various aspects of common sense, inconsistencies or inconsistent arguments that could be present in his written productions. Skits assembled by the students on the proposed theme were analyzed and compared with the written texts.From the results of the research, a pedagogical product was developed in the format of a website that will work as a step-by-step guide for professionals who will work with argumentative writing in texts of the ENEM model.
