Living in the age of media convergence, individuals living with the evolution of the media (radio, cinema, television) naturally transiting through them all, but you cannot deny the great importance that the internet has on them in today's society. In the era of new technologies using the technological resources within the school is needed more every day. In a world where the visual language is present from informational texts to the entertainment, learn about the features and contexts in the use of imagistic texts is quite necessary. In an attempt to help the school environment to prepare for the use of new technologies and how to work with texts is considered itself the discipline and the Portuguese exploration of the characteristics of journalistic genres is small, this paper addresses this issue: the characteristics of journalistic narratives present news videos on television. Following the assumptions of qualitative research by considering the most appropriate for what we wanted to investigate, proceed as follows: in the first two chapters present the theoretical framework, which will provide support for data analysis. In the following chapter presents the methodological procedures and then presents the analysis and the final considerations, presenting the contributions that research can offer to youth education of EM Brazilian schools.
