For much time the people searched, and still they search, the personal accomplishment through the education and of the work, but they ignored the leisure as agent of the growth process, separating the education of the profession and leisure that would have to be understood in set. The individual must search the harmony between knowing, making and the leisure. The National Curricular Parameters are documents that contribute for orientation in the schools with basic concepts as of citizenship, culture and democracy, becoming a norteador instrument in the escolarizada education. This project of objective research to investigate the boarding of leisure contained in the National Curricular Parameters, of the social representations on it, pupils of 1ª 4ª series of a public school of President Prudente. To reflect on the leisure is excellent, as much for its educative text, how much for its politicosocial aspect, propitiating effective interaction in harmony with the nature and the intervention in the world capitalist partner. Some authors mention the leisure to it with clarity of the diverse possibilities to search elements for construction of the improvement of the quality of life, that cannot be privilege of economic and social minorities. Thus, this project of research if makes necessary in view of the importance that the school to contribute how much to the leisure and, over all, it can intervene with the education and the formation of the pupils for and for the leisure, and, also, in other spheres of the life human being. This project has, still, the purpose to analyze possible contradictions between the pedagogical project of the investigated school, the lines of direction of the National Curricular Parameters and the pedagogical reality. The research was developed according to moments: bibliographical survey, mainly involving thematic of the education and the leisure, critical analysis of readings of workmanships on the chosen subject; qualitative research in a public school of basic education of 1ª 4ª series to verify the conception of leisure for the controllers, professors, pupils and practical the pedagogical one. One used half-structuralized interviews directed the directors, professors and pupils.
