Resumo: The research, which now is present, refers to research on the integration of information and communication technologies in the educational environment through the virtual chemistry laboratory, which are available on the Internet, serving as educational support to the teacher in their classes practices. In this sense, the key objective of our study, of descriptive empirical nature, is to analyze the virtual chemistry laboratory and its usability in a didactic perspective. We dive, thus in the specialized literature and in the observation of laboratories on the Web to understand the issues surrounding the challenges faced by teachers and students in the teaching and learning of chemistry in the high school regulars series on the state of Pernambuco. On the other hand, we face the virtual laboratories as technological resources that simulate conventional laboratory practical classes and that producing a new dynamic of teaching and learning, presentially and virtually, the chemistry. Still, in a review of the literature perspective, we investigate the learning theories that serve as a methodological framework for use of such didatic support resources on the chemistry classes. To achieve the research objectives, we selected four virtual laboratories of chemical and submit they to an analysis guide specially developed based on Teixeira's work (2013) "From distance learning to e-learning platforms: alternative systems of mediated education" dedicated to assessing various aspects related to virtual learning environments. We also consider the free access laboratories (open source) because the information access facility, because, the owner character unfeasible the access. After preparation of the guide questions, sent to experts from the fields of chemistry and educational technology aiming the her validation. In the sequence of the analysis of laboratories, we extended the study with teachers and students of the third series of the regular high school of public and private schools in the state of Pernambuco as the integration of ICT in their daily school, equally, also as effective use of interactive digital media in their practices at school in the chemistry discipline. Having in the face the results of research conducted, we conclude that there are significant gaps and barriers that limit and hinder the use of educational technologies within and outside the classroom in Pernambuco, according to the surveyed sample. At the same time, the study provides contributions to the State of the Art on the chemistry study in virtual learning environments, opening up new possibilities for future studies on the subject and producing a new bibliographic source.

Nesse sentido, o objetivo fulcral de nosso estudo, de cariz empírico descritivo, é analisar os laboratórios virtuais de química quanto a sua usabilidade numa perspectiva didática. Mergulhamos, deste modo, na literatura especializada e na observação de laboratórios na Web para entendermos a problemática entorno dos desafios enfrentados por professores e alunos no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de química no ensino médio de séries regulares no Estado de Pernambuco. Por outro lado, nos deparamos com os laboratórios virtuais enquanto recursos tecnológicos que simulam os laboratórios convencionais de aulas práticas e que produzem uma nova dinâmica de ensinar e aprender, presencial e virtualmente, a química. Ainda, numa perspectiva de revisão da literatura, investigamos as teorias de aprendizagem que servem de arcabouço metodológico na utilização de tais recursos de apoio didático nas aulas de química. Para alcançarmos os objetivos da pesquisa, selecionamos quatro laboratórios virtuais de química e os submetemos a um guia de análise especialmente desenvolvido com base na obra de Teixeira (2013) “Da educação a distância às plataformas de e-learning: sistemas alternativos de educação mediada”, dedicado a avaliação de diversos aspectos relacionados a ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem. Também consideramos os laboratórios de livre acesso (open source) pela facilidade de acesso as informações, pois o caráter proprietário inviabilizava o mesmo. Após a confecção das questões do guia, as enviamos para especialistas das áreas de química e tecnologia educacional visando a sua validação. Na sequência da análise dos laboratórios, ampliamos o estudo com docentes e discentes da terceira série do ensino médio regular de escolas públicas e privadas de ensino do Estado de Pernambuco quanto à inserção das TICs em seu cotidiano escolar, igualmente, como se efetiva a utilização de mídias digitais interativas em suas práticas no ambiente escolar na disciplina de química. Face aos resultados da pesquisa realizada, concluímos que existem lacunas e barreiras que limitam e dificultam a utilização de tecnologias educacionais dentro e fora das salas de aula em Pernambuco, de acordo com a amostra inquirida.
