The objective of this paper is to propose a methodology of analysis of strategies of management for the development of the regional tourism based on strategies of development from agglomerations of companies. At a first moment there were analysed the concepts, definitions and classifications from the agglomerations of companies presented in the theoretical referential system. After this analysis one checked the competitive advantages acquired by enterprises participants of the productive collections and the influences caused in the societies in which these collections are. At the second moment it did necessary boarded in the succinct form the historical of the tourist activity, the caused impact shears same in the brazilian economy and the importance of the regional development of the activity. This is a exploratory and qualitative research, that through the analysis of the tools of management used by the productive clusters, there was proposed a interview semi-structured to be applied to regions with potential for the regional development of the tourism.The interview was accomplished with the manager of the Agency of Tourist and Cultural Development of the “Rota dos Tropeiros” and the director of tourism of the Association of the Municipal districts of Campos Gerais, and starting from the collected data it was observed that the area already uses some administration tools, however some exist tools of addition importance for the regional development that still are not used.
