De que maneira os meios tecnológicos contribuíram, numa perspectiva poimênica, para amenizar a dor e sofrimento das famílias, em especial, as pessoas idosas, consideradas as mais vulneráveis durante a pandemia? Para isto, foi considerado o período de formação da cidade de Brasília e da Igreja Memorial nos seus primórdios, com intuito de conhecer o solo de sua origem, sua história, seu perfil, seu modo de ser e sua liturgia, como alguns dos itens destacados nesta pesquisa, visando entender o panorama e contexto da pandemia na atualidade. Foram considerados os Decretos Governamentais mais importantes do Governo do Distrito Federal aplicados na pandemia, e algumas atas da igreja que registraram a criação, evolução e extinção da Comissão Especial Temporária, denominada Covid-19. A igreja enfrentou a crise pandêmica, o luto e a dor; a vulnerabilidade e o distanciamento físico e social, procurando aplicar a poimênica, os cuidados pastorais por meio de uma prédica relevante e acalentadora, bem como do aconselhamento virtual, que trouxesse bem-estar físico, emocional e espiritual, e das práticas pastorais aplicadas a cura emocional das pessoas idosas.This dissertation aims to discuss the pastoral care for the elderly of the Baptist Memorial Church in the city of Brasilia, in the years of the pandemic, 2020-22. How have technological means contributed, from a poimenic perspective, to alleviate the pain and suffering of families, especially the elderly, considered the most vulnerable during the pandemic? For this, the period of formation of the city of Brasilia and the Memorial Church in its beginnings was considered, in order to know the soil of its origin, its history, its profile, its way of being and its liturgy, as some of the items highlighted in this research, aiming to understand the panorama and context of the pandemic today. We considered the most important Government Decrees of the Federal District Government applied in the pandemic, and some church minutes that recorded the creation, evolution and extinction of the Special Temporary Commission, called Covid- 19.
