História da Matemática: A interdisciplinaridade e o lúdico pedagógico na aprendizagem em Matemática

Our objective in this research was to analyze how the use of teaching activities of an interdisciplinary and ludic-pedagogical nature, from the History of Mathematics can contribute to the improvement of learning in Mathematics. The research carried out had a qualitative character whose focus is the individual with all its complexity and in its insertion and interaction with the sociocultural environment. For the development of this work we worked with action research and as an instrument of analysis were used: data collection, interviews and questionnaires with teachers and students, throughout the investigative process, not only for data collection, but reflective analysis on development research and goals to be achieved. We also conducted a Mini Course in a public school in the region of Cariri Cearense, with students from the Final Years of Elementary School in which it was applied to Mancala and the Magic Squares. The record was given by photographs and questionnaires with those involved in the research. The interdisciplinarity occurred through the reading and interpretation of texts about the games, about their history or even legends that added information of historical character. Mancala, on the other hand, also has an aggregating character regarding issues of cultural diversity and the environment. As a result of this research, a report was prepared in which the reality data collected together with the experience lived through the proposals of activities were deepened in the light of Leontiev's Theory of Activity. We can see that the practice of Interdisciplinarity and the History of Mathematics begin to appear even though timidly in the classroom and that the use of legends of a historical character, associated to the playfulness provided by the games related to these legends, could promote a greater Motivation in the learning of Mathematics, collaborating in overcoming a Eurocentric vision of this science.
