Resumo: | The present essay has the objective of resuming the Freudian work, supported in the Lacanian reading, to indicate the specificity of psychoanalysis in relation to the neurosciences. When we read Freud's pre-psychoanalytic texts, we already see in the author fundamental considerations about neurology and the place that will account for the formulations of psychoanalysis. From Lacan, we base the understanding of psychoanalysis on language and unconscious. We try to demonstrate how this can be related - in encounters and disagreements - with the investigation of the consciousness developed by the neurosciences. As a conclusion, we understand that psychoanalysis not only maintains its specificity, but also we need to think about what model of scientificity may include psychoanalysis, rather than simply having to adapt it, sacrificing its concepts, to the dominant paradigm |

Ao lermos a obra pré-psicanalítica de Freud, vemos já presentes no autor considerações fundamentais sobre a neurologia e o lugar que dará conta às formulações da psicanálise. A partir de Lacan, fundamentamos a compreensão da psicanálise sobre linguagem e inconsciente. Procuramos demonstrar como isso pode se relacionar nos encontros e desencontros com a investigação da consciência efetuada pelas neurociências.
