Executive functions (EFs) involve processes and skills that are responsible for monitoring andhandling information necessary for the execution of complex tasks. In this sense, it is relevant to know about the functioning and development of these skills. For this to be pssible it isnecessary to search appropriate instruments psychometrically to assess and meet the development of EFs. The aim of this study was to verify evidence of validity and reliability of a battery of computerized tests that measure separately the three components of the EFs (working memory, cognitive flexibility and inhibitory control) in children 4 to 10 years old. The study was divided into two sections. In the first section we investigated the evidence of validity for content by a questionnaire submitted to judges, experts in the field. There was agreement among the judges as to the aspects: consistency of the constructs, appropriateness of activities for children, the layout, record, audio, instructions, training phases, the interruption rules and how to record the results . In the second part it sought evidence of validity for relation to internal and external variables, through the participation of 51 children aged 4 to 10 years, enrolled in regular network in the city of Goiania. children were subjected to computerized test (TAFE) and also to the tests: Corsi Block, subtest digits forward and reverse order, Trail Making Test, Stroop Test and Semantic. The Kruskal-Wallis analysis for the age effect showed statistically significant results in working memory and inhibitory control tests and in some stages of cognitive flexibility test. The Spearman correlation between the performances in computerized and traditional tests showed significant correlation between most tests. Trusts evidence were investigated by means of test-retest in 10 children previously submitted to TAFE, the results indicated stability of scores over time. Statistical analyzes performed indicate psychometric adequacy of the instrument.
