Resumo: [pt] Esse trabalho tem por objetivo investigar os impactos na manutenção preventiva em materiais rodantes e na via permanente de sistemas metroferroviários localizado na metrópole nacional, o Rio de Janeiro, no cenário das cidades lidando com os impactos das mudanças climáticas, especificamente com o aumento de temperatura. Os dados analisados, através da revisão bibliográfica de maneira sistemática e dados coletados através da Agência Reguladora de Serviços Públicos Concedidos de Transportes do Rio de Janeiro (AGETRANSP), são do transporte de passageiros no sistema ferroviário e metroviário. Considerando que o desenvolvimento sustentável do espaço urbano precisa incluir parâmetros que contemplem o transporte de passageiros, especialmente o transporte metroferroviário, esse trabalho se propõe a estudar as avarias que podem acontecer quando os equipamentos e sistemas estão expostos a altas temperaturas, e entender como a manutenção preventiva pode atuar para mitigar os riscos aos quais os sistemas estão expostos. Mitigar os efeitos das mudanças climáticas sobre o sistema de transporte é essencial para a formulação de diretrizes que contribuam para que as cidades sejam sustentáveis, incluindo o transporte, para as presentes e futuras gerações. O desenvolvimento sustentável do espaço urbano precisa incluir parâmetros que contemplem o transporte de passageiros.

The data analyzed, through a systematic literature review and data collected through the Regulatory Agency for Public Transport Services of Rio de Janeiro (AGETRANSP, 2025), are from passenger transport in the railway and subway system of the State of Rio de Janeiro, a place that historically registers elevated temperatures throughout the year. The method of the study presented here is based on the bibliographic analysis and technical data available in relevant institutions in the areas of climate change and the metro-rail system. A literature review is conducted with data from various sources to present the concepts that are worked on in the study. It consists of understanding which climatic phenomena are associated with the increase in temperature that can cause damages in the metro-rail system. Through the association between literature review and quantitative data analysis, this work investigated the impacts on preventive maintenance on rolling stock and on the permanent track of the metro-rail system found in Rio de Janeiro, in the scenario of cities dealing with the impacts of climate change, specifically with the increase in temperature. The exploitation by human beings of natural resources and the process of industrialization have resulted in an increase in the temperature of planet Earth. According to the IPCC (2019), the Earth s surface temperature has continued to increase since the period 1850-1900 (basis of comparison), due to the unsustainability of energy use, land and consumption patterns. In heat-related events, global warming and urbanization can contribute to temperature increase through the heat island effect (IPCC, 2020).
