Literacia estat?stica e probabil?stica no ensino m?dio

Resumo: The present study aimed to investigate the Literacy Estat?tics and Probabilistic for students entering and graduating from high school in two public schools in a city in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, RS. It tried to identify and analyze the abilities and competences in Literacy in the Information Treatment and Uncertainty. The research involved 21 groups, being nine of one city border school and 12 of the city central area. The researched universe involved 444 pupils. The data were collected through a questionnaire formed by informative questions to know general identification with the purpose to find Literacy. The research included a big bibliographic review and diferent theoretic perspectives. It was based, yet, in legal documents, mainly National Curriculum Parameters (PCN). The used methodology was that of the combined methods, based in Creswell (2010). The quantitative analysis was made in a descriptive way, showing results by charts and tables. The qualitative analysis employed the methodology of Textual Discourse (MORAES; GALIAZZI, 2011). The results indicate that the high school incoming and outgoing pupils showed limited abilities in charts and tables data writing, reading, calculation and interpretation. Thus, the pupils development was not satisfactory, considering Literacia as abilities and competences employment. Third degree pupils had better results than that of the first ones, but with similar difficulties in Treatment Information and Uncertainty. The shown abilities and competences in each degree, associated to those linked to this knowledge phase show the loss of learning in this area on the high school conclusion.

Tratou de identificar e analisar as habilidades e as compet?ncias em Literacia no Tratamento da Informa??o e da Incerteza. A pesquisa envolveu 21 turmas, sendo nove de uma escola da periferia e 12 de uma escola localizada na ?rea central da cidade. O universo pesquisado envolveu 444 alunos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um question?rio formado por quest?es informativas para levantar identifica??es gerais e avaliativas com o prop?sito de identificar a Literacia. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de uma extensa revis?o bibliogr?fica e diferentes perspectivas te?ricas. Apoiou-se, ainda, em documentos legais, especialmente os Par?metros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN). A metodologia utilizada foi a de m?todos mistos com base em Creswell (2010). A an?lise quantitativa foi feita de forma descritiva, apresentando resultados por meio de gr?ficos e tabelas. A an?lise qualitativa utilizou a metodologia da Textual Discursiva (MORAES; GALIAZZI, 2011). Os resultados indicam que os alunos ingressantes e concluintes do Ensino M?dio apresentam limitadas habilidades na escrita, na leitura, no c?lculo e na interpreta??o de dados contidos em gr?ficos e tabelas. Desse modo, o desempenho dos alunos foi insatisfat?rio ao considerar a Literacia enquanto uso de habilidades e compet?ncias. Alunos da terceira s?rie tiveram melhores resultados que os alunos da primeira s?rie, por?m, com semelhantes dificuldades no Tratamento da Informa??o e da Incerteza. As habilidades e as compet?ncias demonstradas em cada s?rie, associadas ?quelas agregadas nesta etapa de ensino, mostram a defasagem na aprendizagem desse bloco de conte?dos na conclus?o do Ensino M?dio.Made available in DSpace on 2015-04-14T14:13:00Z (GMT).
